Yoga with ♡ in Boston

A little bit about me

I started practicing yoga when I was just 14 and went on to complete my foundational training in the yoga of the mind at Frog Pond Yoga Center in Princeton, Massachusetts. I continue to study teaching and assisting at Down Under School of Yoga in Boston.

After years of daily heated flow classes, I began an Ashtanga practice under the guidance of Sam Glannon, Elliott McEldowney, and Didi von Deck. This devotional practice brought me to Mysore, India where I spent time studying under Saraswathi Jois and immersing myself in the history of yoga. I have practiced with David Swenson, Eddie Stern, Kino MacGregor, and other senior Ashtanga teachers, all of whom have left an imprint on my practice and teaching. Outside of Ashtanga, I am fortunate enough to receive mentorship from mystic and movement master, Maybelle Rowntree.

My class offering is an Ashtanga-based flow centered around alignment, functional movement, bandha, and breath. I think it is fairly accessible and generally appropriate for most bodies. The sequencing is foundational, I share plenty of modifications, I encourage the use of props and I offer hands-on adjustments to consenting students.
